thought i would post this here as they are fresh water fish.....not caught but shot my new past time walking the river bank and shooting them in the head with the .22 (fun fishing)

one of the fish i smashed this evening (got 12 fish total,this being a medium size)

1.8kg (12lb) Koi carp


hole in back of head indicates its reason for expiration


and it had a Waikato Uni bio tag in it as well so all the info has been emailed to them as well.

1.8kg multiply by 2.45 lbs per kg equals 4.41 lbs.

TAKE THAT!!! that for stopping the carp from coming up onto the grass when I was there so I could kill some too.

(Meeting place is now at the ford, just in case the OTHER creek comes up)
