well i should start this now as have made some room in my shed, still no concrete floor but who cares. apart from springs and shocks pretty much have everything major that i will need. took my old hearse to work so i can fit it in,

bought this off trade me for $100 with diffs still in it ,so spares for scudo1

motor

transfercase from this

now i must start. vaughan

what are the plans for the Scudo? Is that a commodore V6? Keep us posted and take pics of everything

yeah vando it is a commodore v6 and 4spd auto which will go to datsun transfer and then hilux diffs with 4.88 heads. i will fit hilux rear to suzuki suspension and in front am using paj rear arms and a panhard rod setup..will leave chassis but am shortening body so rear wheel arch will move forward about 200mm, i have some 15x8 rims and will run 33 inch tyres, looks like this now

will do body then take chassis to work and do that, cheers

if you need any advice, you could try to get hold of a guy in Counties 4wd club who built this vitara with prado running gear and commy v6 running 35" tyres. very tidy rig. he may be able to help with any hints you may need.
