Pre purchase check

I am looking at a bj73 to buy does anyone know of a good place to go for a pre-purchase inspection? Compression test etc. Im in Christchurch. It is using about 1Litre of water a week. Any help appreciated. Cheers.

I went to Diesel Services out by the beaurepairs on the blenheim road. $150 for leakdown and compression test, with a report as to the state of the motor.

Try Check King. The guys name is Garth Brewer and his is a mobile service. He is used by all the car yards and yes he is reputable and costs not a lot. PH 0274 362 211
