Just get it legal and get out on some trips before you strip it down again man!!!!! You don't need a winch, you got twin lockers!!!!!!!

Built the rear bar for the truck, pretty happy with how it turned out. Just have to trim the sides to the correct lengths, cap the ends, put some diagonal bars in to reinforce the sides and mount the lights.

The bar is level... its just the angle of the photo.

so far this weekend I've stacked a cord of firewood and then sat at the computer to find my favourite 4wd website contained more porn than 4wd stuff.

hopefully Mike can clean it up soon and we can all get back to chatting about the mud we all like and not the other kind of mud that has infiltrated the site.

DAMN SPAMMERS  :x  :puker: :ncool: :( :rocketwhore2:

Where abouts do you go to shoot rabbits? I normally go up the Waipara, but would be keen to find somewhere closer.

I fixed someone elses computer (as usual) installed some spotlights on mates pajero and put a brew on to use in the still when the brew is finished bubbling happily away in the garage.

By the way NEVER use your still in the wash house, it makes your house smell like a brewery for a week or more!

Hohn

I haven't come across any ice even when dirving back from southland after the big snow storm they had.

Saturday-went to Donnithorne Simms for a fuel rail and pitman arm for the old mans pajero, another job on the to do list. Went to 4WD accessories and had a yarn to Rick. Then went to work and didn't leave till 9pm, more money for the lift kit :D .

Sunday-in bed crook as a dog!! :( :( :( But it has an upside, I get to lie in bed and play on the computer while the better half does the groceries and housework.

Getting my truck sorted for the ORE association 3 day trip to the West coast SI (next weekend), can't wait :D
Winch field coils rewound (stuffed at the Easter trip to the coast  ), bought a set of heavy duty XF fairmont panel van springs, had them redrilled, and fitted the up yesterday, 2 leaves more than the old falcon SW springs I had, 35mm more lift in the rear, should carry more weight too, has stiffened things up really well, feels like they match the front now as it was way too soft in the rear, those who have lux's running falcon springs, this is the way to go :!:
$50 for the springs, $58 for the drilling, $11 for a can of black zinc it = $119.00 for 35mm lift, comfy ride, carry more weight, have had a measure up and the flex just as well as the SW (4 leaf) springs
*Stoked*
few wee jobs to do and i'll be completely sorted for next weekend
