I am concidering putting a turbo onto my vitara engine but am unsure weather or not the front diff will handle the xtra power that the turbo will generate. I no the engine will handle it as we have already run this turbo on this engine but in a truck that was running hilux diffs.
what do you guys reckon.

you will need to stock up on front diffs if you do that , mine has cam ,head work inlet and exh mods , maybe 100hp and i get about 2 trips out of each front diff (i have been told i am ####### rough though) , i either brake the casing or blow spider gears to bits or rh axle or all of the above

can allways drive out but  now i try to be gentle  go the hilux diffs cheers

i have been offered a chassis set up to take hilux diffs but i want to run A-class this year and with that chassis and hilux diffs i wont be able to to that and i can't be assed withthe expense of running c-class. So i might just leave the engine standard.

what mods are you allowed to do in A class?,i want the scudo i am building to be legal for trials but will have to go in D class because of mods , wont be competitive but should be fun.

all im alowed to do for A-class is cut the roof down to soft top level and put a cage in. I think i can change the engine but chasis, diffs and suspension have to be factory.
