Pajero NJ - Tow hook mount

Hi, Pajero NJ owners,
Can any one tell me the best position to fix tow hook on front and rear is?
At the rear, I could drill the new hold on passenger side of frame end.
But I’m guessing that it could be used as Hi-lift point? If this is the case, it may not be a good position.
At the front, I probably need to cut the sump guard that is not the OEM standard black one but OEM optional alloy guard.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you tried getting in touch with the guys in the Nelson 4wd club for advice?
I've seem a couple of well set up Paj's over there, so would assume they have proper recovery points, and hopefully belong to the local club.
Hope its not anything like my Bighorn to put a hook on, was going to cost over $300 to have one mounted

, so I sold it and bought a Safari

.
Still have to get around to mounting a front hook on this though

Thanks Guys,
I know few club members working at Houston Motors and one has Pajero with hook mounted on front and rear. I might get some advice at my next service.
For rear, looks like best option is replace tow tab with L shaped plate like a tow bar fitting. But the front may be little tricky and labour for making a mount point may be little overkill. The original Tow point in front was not too bad (upside down hook), so I may leave a front for while until I came up some idea…

Pop in to Newport Engineering (behind the Off Road testing station in Vanguard St) and talk to Cooze or Scotty - they have done quite a few
