What i want to know is how hard is it to put a Lexus V8 into a LJ78 LWb Prado. Currently have a 2.4 Turbo diesel but would like to change to engine at some point. Was thinking going a Supra engine but might as well go for the extra 2 cylinders

My project thread gives a good rundown, the LJ70's are good candidates for a lexus swap, they fit in fairly easy.
Me mate Mike can hook you up with the flywheel/bellhousing/adapter plate etc or do the whole job for $8-$9K.
Cheers

Dunno, you'd have to check, the price varies a bit depending on how tricky the conversion is. I've seen a few other lexus conversions around that were $10K+++ & not as well done as Mikes are.

yeah, knowing how many he's done. I would take my truck to him any day, even if he lived at the other end of the country. I've never seen another conversion that has the awesome boogie and fuel economy that you get from mikes.
p.s. thats a mean collection of shirts you hiding above the monster garage.
