The starter motor on my Terrano is playing up. Momentarily disengages when cranking. Maybe its the solenoid or a relay.
I need to know of a reliable place to take it for servicing here in chch please.

This seems to only happen when the truck is cold, seems ok when warm.

I do not want to get caught out on the Poulter trip with a dead starter on an auto truck.

try automotive parts in rangiora if looking for spare how dirty is the starter? mine did similar pulled apart cleaned out rebuilt the brushes are a pain to solder new ones in won't try to do it again took me 3 days at work? now seems ok i'm manual
