does anyone know what temperature the 1uzfe should operate at when warmed up. what is safe etc. and around what temperature is getting too high. normally mine sits at around 140, but today it reached 180. so i would imagine it would be higher offroad. just being cautious as i cant afford to do any damage to the motor.
i am also looking for a power steering pump if anyone has one.
cheers luke.

Mine runs at around 90c most of the time.
If your's is set in farenheit then it's okay, probably running a touch cold but if that's celsius then you have some issues!

oh yea sorry its F not C. i have got a 10 litre sump so that keeps it on the cool side. just wanted to check as i used to own a turbo rotary and i could hold my hand on the block without getting burned, when it was running. but the v8 i can touch hours after it has been running and its still hot. then again there is alot more metal to cool than the sewing machine.
cheers, just wanted to be safe and not sorry.
