Hi gents,
Am still looking for a good Rangie but wife has 'suggested' four doors as we now have a wee one on the way, so for eases sake I'm now looking at this:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 405135.htm
Has anyone had a look at it? Looks fairly tidy to me, would haggle the price though.
If I get it, are there any guys nearby in Taranaki for some banter/offroading/help?
Cheers in advance,
Hugo.

Thanks for the replies guys, but am definitely looking for a Rangie. Won't be doing anything super strenuous so diffs should be ok.

If youre going to use this for a daily driver too....you will need to buy some shares in Mobil as these scoff the juice& its done a resonably high milage..126148 Miles....almost 200,000 km...so make sure the motor is ok.

Thanks for the replies. Yep, mileage is getting to that stage where a new cam/lifters etc would be on the cards. Depends a lot on what regularity the oil changes have been done!
Will go and have a look and report back. Cheers gents.
Hugo.

They are a bit more bang proof. It will probably have a 24 spline rear. Depending on how you drive will determine if you break the diff or not. To me, it isnt worth $5000, more like 3 or 4.

I went for a look myself. There are better examples around for less money, so you probably did ok.

Thanks Elterelo,
Price was a bit steep but it looked very tidy. Did you see anything wrong with it?
