JTop Engine Stops

Hi all
Got an intermittent issue with my JTop 3.0L V6 Gen 1
Engine dies intermittently when hitting a puddle / river at speed !
But here is the kicker ... I can do a slow river crossing with water up over the hood with no issues. http://www.mytronics.co.nz/gallery/mike ... unge.htmlI have lannoteched all the electrical and it still has problems. After we have stopped I look under the hood and there is stuff all water. The dizzy is fine, the air cleaner is dry. Wait 5 minutes and all is fine varoom ! Any suggestions?

gen 1? thought it was a gen 2? anyhow, mine was doing the same thing, got new leads, all fine. pretty sure it was the coil lead that was the culprit. think the sudden splash caused by hitting water at speed throws water up but going slow creates a bow wave, but no splash?

You are right as usual , Gen 2
I replaced all the leads last month, but you may be onto something as the new lead from the coil is very loose fitting (rubber boot) compared to the original. Will order genuine and let you know.
CV's working great, just the Toyata's blowing front diffs on our runs lately. No Mits issues yea
