Safari For Sale

Post by Dak »

Time to sell, maybe.

1990 SWB Safari 140,000km
TD42 and Auto, auto was fully rebuilt 3 years ago and if fitted with a big ass cooler and a manual locker. Factory rear diff lock. Full OME 2" lift kit. Howat Engineering steering arms. Safari snorkel and modded air cleaner, there is now way it'll suck even the tiniest drop of water, unless you submerge it :-) 2 1/2" exhaust. Cargo barrier and no rear seats. Uniden 5W UHF radio and scanner. AM CB. Two complete sets of 5 rims and tyres, one set has 31/10.5 ATX's on them, the other set has 33" Simex ET's, all near new. Fire extinguisers front and rear. ARB front bar and 24V Warn hi-mount with internal controls, all new two years ago, roughly. Fastidiously maintained with oil and filters done every 5000km. Comes with all gear, strops, compressor etc and a lot of stuff I've probably missed. Nothing to do or buy, just go out and drive it where ever you want. For more info ring me on 06 3443686 or jrwhite@xtra.co.nz

I've found it to be actually better geared with the Simex's. Doesn't "feel" like it loses any grunt, a turbo would be nice though :-)

Cheers, Jeff.
