12volt or 24 volt??

thinking about fitting some after market gauges to my safari,temperture,oil pressure gauge, think i read somwhere that the dash runs of 12 volts?? but not sure , or do i have to get 24volt gauges,or anyone fitted after market gauges to there safari's
any help would good thanks

12/24 only matters for electric gauges or lights. If you get a mechanical type oil pressure guage you only need to upgrade the little bulb in it, or leave it disconnected :wink:

Same deal with temperature gauge.

Everything is 24v apart from the ACC power feed to the stereo. I just run the little lights in the gauges off that 12V wire, the lights come on as soon as you turn the key to ACC, but i can live with that.
