LSD in front of GQ Safari

Post by Mark »

I saw a post in a Toyota thread by PigFmr saying that he put a Terrano LSD in the front of his GQ Safari. I did a bit of reading (just a little bit, not much at all really) and have seen people talking about being able to put a rear LSD out of a WD21 Pathfinder/Terrano (First Generation 1986-1995) in the front.

So... if I was going to do this, what would I need to know? Is there any engineering to do to make them fit? Do you have to modify anything or do you just rip out one and put in the other?

Also, what would you expect to pay for a LSD diff head? If I bought one and then found that it wasn't as tight as it could be, what's involved in making good again?

Cheers

Dammit! I did do a search but I used "nissan" instead of "safari" in the search words and it just so happens that nobody used the word Nissan in that whole thread

Thanks Doddzee
