Hi,

I'm new to New Zealand and am toying with the idea of rebuilding a Rover 3.5L V8.

I was part way through one when I left Scotland but didn't bring it over.

Question is where can I get parts for it? Things like the bearings/gaskets/rings etc?

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Hugo.

If you're gonna rebuild a Rover V8 you could do worse than talk to Ross Calgher - he's up the road from you at Waitara http://www.roverv8.biz/

Thanks Guys,

Furgus, that's great, I'll look him up and give him a call. Seems to be exactly what I'm after!

Cheers again,

Hugo.

Pioneer Auto parts http://www.pap.co.nz or Repco can help. Rover 3.5s are an old stockcar favorite.... a bit old hat now with the inclusion of the 4.0l Ford and 3.8 Holden. Need to spend megabucks on one of those puppies to get even near performance of the ford or holden. One advantage is the weight though.....
