Dashboard heater switch

Post by menace »

Hi all,
I have a 94 SWB 4M40T Pajero.
There's a switch on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel down beside (to the left of) the dashboard lights dimmer control.
When I switch it on, the switch light illuminates, but I don't know what it's heating.
The mirror heaters turn on when I turn on the rear window demister (up above the hazard lights switch) so I know it's not them.
Could this be a fuel heater?
Does anyone know? :?:

It will not be seat heaters. There are two switches (one for each seat)either side of the center consule storage box. It must be a jap import option. My nz new Paj has that switch position blanked out.

Met a guy with an identical wagon in the car park at Speights Ale House. It's a windscreen de-icer.
It heats the bottom of the windscreen so your wiper blades don't rip when you turn them on on a frosty morning.
All I gotta do, is remember to turn it on when we next have a decent frost.
And yep, it's a Jap Import.
