Hey, i have been helping a mate today try wire up a tacho in his skyline, but we have the tacho instructions and that but we cant seem to get a signal.

Where abouts should we be conecting the Green signal cabble?? its got me stumpped as the only other car that i had put a tacho in was a 1970 mini, and that didnt have any computers.

Cheers guys for any replies, i know its not 4x4 relatted but its still part of the nissan family of cars,

could be hard as skylines have coil packs dont they? otherwise hook it up to the negative side of the coil.

But what the hell does a skyline need another tacho for? they've already got one

lol ok. does it have a distributor or coil packs?

deffinantlly no dizzy but some some computer set up aye, im no good with these modern cars. i would guess if its not a coil it would be coil packs????
