Well Sold the V6 Zook this weekend (paid $6000 3 months ago and got $7500 for her!) Mrs has already spent the profit though, she snuck down and order a new set of Muddies for her beast.

managed to pull finger and fit my homemade snorkle this weekend, well get it on the beast at least, still waiting on some 65mm flexi coil to match the snork to the existing intake. so at the moment shes all for show. Mrs took one look at it and said .. I want one on mine ,,, sigh back to Mitre 10 for more pipe
did manage to have a play in the mud and try out the new muddies yeasterday, never looked like getting stuck and I was in some pretty deep muddy ruts.

Off out to fit the airhorns my sons bought me for fathers day then im going to drop the rear springs out ready for the 2' reset.

you got it round the wrong way you should be getting the new muddies n givin your missus the old ones lol. and the snorkle looks good to.

as well as resetting the rear springs go to a wreakers and get a set of hilux rear shocks eye and pin type. u'll need to get new bushes though as the lower mount shaft size is smaller than the hilux. think its 16 or 17mm but dont hold me to it. just measure the shaft before you get the bushes.

I wrapped the modified pipe in black duct tape once the insert to get the right angle was dried

hey there mercutio the Snork os made out of 65mm Marley Drain pipe availiable at Mitre 10, stuff cost $5.50x2 for the 90 deg bends $18.90 for 3m of 65mm pipe, $5.90 for the 112 deg bend (I had to modify it see photos) and $3.30 each for the screw clips to hold it :) I used a etch primer them painted it matt black with a crappy $1.99 SUPERCHEAP spraybomb
All up prob a few cents over $40

no worries i say go hilux springs as to me the seamed to smoothen th ride out a little and they are much longer travel. i found the standard fez ones were limiting the amount of flex i could get out of the ass end. that and i actually snapped one of them on a particularly rough track i found one day so i thought id try the hilux shocks in they worked, i just went to the wreakers and $80 later had two rancho shocks now i can do this
