Can a single ARB switch be used to operate 2 solenoids?
Want to us a ARB switch to run a factory nissan diff lock thats been fitted to a mates vehicle, has 2 solenoids for operation, one for in one for out.

Locker switch Q:
Yes BUT.......
You will possibly need to use a 2 pole relay to alternate the power to the different solenoids when operating the switch which is probably only single pole. I presume that one is on when the diff is open and one is on when the diff is locked.

What are you trying to achive by doing this? Just for looks?
You could do it properly and throw away the vacuum system all together and air operate it. Info on how to do that can be found on outerlimits.
The Solenoils packed up on mine so ive installed a 3way ball valve in the cab to solve the problem. Flow in one direction turns it on and flow in the other turns it off.

He brought the switch because he throught/was told it would do the job,its a single pole switch?
The solenoids are high flow aftermarket,he well more than likley run compressed air through it at a later date, just wants to get it going at this stage.
I dont think a pretty switch well make this girl look any nicer

Might look into this twin pole relay thing, that might work.
