I can do you a NZ new, LWB, gen 2, 1993, 2.5 diesel manual with factory diff lock (5.286 ratio) for $1300 complete truck. The motor is tired, down to 200 psi in all cylinders but the rest is fine, just a bit dirty.
That way you can put the diff lock and the springs in your coiled gen 1, and if you put the front diff in you would have super select.
Truck is located in Tauranga.
Let me know soon before I re-engine as I will want more once it is Wof reg'ed.

It'll take alot of work to get the super select into the Gen 1 as the transfer cases are different.
I think ARB do a diff lock for the back but that is more than your vehicle is worth

You NEED to find a locker or LSD? Gen 2 axles are wider. But to swap the rear like taguy mentioned would be the best wayto get a locker. But you'd have to make sure the front was the same ratio as the 5.29 your putting in was.
