Off road in the dark is a bit different

Need more lights   including some at the back for when going backwards

It went for what i would think a fair price, and i kept the winch... it went south on wednesday and the purchaser just took delivery of it today, and after speaking to him this evening i'd say we both are happy.

Well this weekend hasnt started off the best, a shimmy had started to appear in the front of Ferozaush took it into Firestone to get them to test the wheel balance, discovered that two of the tyres are starting to delaminate  looks like im going to have to bite the bullet and buy a new complete set of muddies next week.

ah well off to a mates farm tomorrow we are going to have a head to head battle between Ferozaush, the mrs's Zook and a 4x4 Polaris :) (he's the local distributor of Polaris 4x4's and he has a "test track" set up on his farm .. mixure of mud holes, mud holes and MUD HOLES)

I never use the rear seats, they are always folded down, and I'm sick of cleaning them :!:

Plan is to make a false floor where the rear seats were and use the space under it to house electrics.

They will join the pile of other stuff that may one day get fitted to the truck agian. :?

spent most of the day in the garage putting the surf back togeather. Its good to see progress. timing is all done, injector lines are in even though i had to go and look at a surf in a car yard and note how they went and to really piss me off the pipes didnt suit the configuration i saw so i put them on how they wanted to go and now i will double check on another one tomorrow  That is the pipes onto the pump. removed all the egr crap now and made plates to cover the holes. hopefully tomorrow will sort out the radiator, electric fans (thanks shane for the awsome fans), put the rest of the auxillary stuff back on. Its great being back in the garage 8)

Sounds like a smart move, don't forget to post progress Pics

I am thinking of pulling the seats out of the back of the Bighorn to give me a bit more room for all the kit that we take off-roading.

Got the exhaust sorted (new hi-flow cat converter, free flow muffler and tail pipe raised and tucked away to protect from elements).

Got the WOF sorted after that. New exhaust is a bit louder (throatier), but the WOF (AA) guy said nothing to me, all sweet.

I can already feel the difference in how the engine was being choked before with factory exhaust.

had a tinker around the surf today to try and get it firing but wouldn't looked at every thing changed the dizzy, leads, and even the spark plugs in the end found a blown fuse so off to ripco got a couple replaced turned it over and it semi assed fired so just gonn a put the exhaust back on and give it another blast and see what happens :) moved in to our new rental in papamoa #### it's good to be able to work in a garage with nice floor and room to move, a few littles things left to do got to fit new bar in rear chassis so i can mount the tops of the shocks and do the bottom as well :)

NO worries DB, I hope it didn't take you too many Hours to unwrap. :P
I have sent A LOT of car parts around the country and with yours being rareish 50 parts I didn't want to risk having them damaged for you. That pallet load of parts weighed in at 160kg.

I spent the weekend in the Marlborough Sounds scalloping and fishing with a group of mates, Sat night we sat around the BBQ with a few brews, and had an awesome feed of fresh scallops, blue cod and terakihi. Loved it.
