Found it and quoted.

JAOS OVERSEAS DEPT. [overseas@jaos.co.jp]

Parts ID: 350305/350306
Unit Price JPY19,800x2 = JPY39,600
Air Freight JPY8,200 (EMS DOOR-DOOR SERVICE)

Not's that about $600+.

The large mud flap (mud guard) that you an chose from grey, yellow or red.

JAOS is kind of major outlet and manufacture of 4X4 accessories in Japan.
They have dealers in OZ, US, UK and others but not in NZ...

Japanese PDF catalogue for Pajero Gen II is here:

Large pic for yellow one can find here:

Try the wreckers as heaps of imports have em, I saw some on trademe not long ago dunno if they were for a paj worth a look though.
Six hundred is a bit steep for mud flaps!! Do they do somthing special like keep your truck extra clean or aid in traction!

If I look at Price in JPY, it may be not steep for most of Japanese Market.
Yup, everything is expensive there.
(Yes, I'm Japanese who lives in NZ long enough to think that is too steep)

Thanks Damo, wreckers may be a good idea. I will keep eye on them if the got anything to fit.

And DB, I know you say that and I see yours on somewhere here in your pics. That's definitely an option.

The JAOS one has that alminum plate on bottom to keep flap in position as well as the stainless steel wire to prevent be caught in a tyre.

I still have original fitted, so it's not urgent or anything.
So, I will see what opportunity comes up, may be end up making one by self.

Cheers

I just got a quote.

The palmside colours rubber sheet (600x900) is now $61.25 including GST and $5.00 freight for one or $8.00 for two to Nelson.

Now measure the original and make design for bigger one.. :)

Thats tru, just attach them with a couple of small self tappers so they are the only things that come off! :D I seen a few surfs with re-aranged bumper ends becasue the mud flaps are attached so solidly!

Ummm,

I made template out of cardboard.

It may need little adjustment before actually ordering the sheet.
So far I need 2 sheets, if I do not cut and reuse original on driver side rear.

And, start looking that weights to put the bottom of flaps and stainless hanger wire...

One strike out of my todo list.

I haven't thought about that, but may be...

I saw quite lot's of paj with aftermarket mud flaps and find it's more practical.
So, here I am looking for some...
POUK member makes quite good one but not sure I can buy from here in NZ.
Making my own from sheet would be a fun.
