wheeling a liteace / townace 4wd

anyone mucked round with one of these ?.. you see heaps around and really cheap, they look to be running surf gear in them , heck you could prob install a live axel up front and a SOA
big meats look to be a problem as standard rim size is 14" (27"od)

I used to prune pines, a guy from another gang had a nissan van 4wd on 30's, hi/lo range, manual hubs. It certainly coped with the tracks around the forrsts fine, with chainsaws, lopers, ladders and associated crap thrown in it AND 4 guys.....
He used to keep up with the land rover sweet as
That said, there were no big ruts, though there were some steep slippery climbs, and it seemed almost to be better than the landy in those situations...
