Hi Ryan,
This may require the infamous "clicky fix" commonly available in the States. I had the same problem and the fix fixed it for a while. Its basically just another relay in the system.
I ended up with two starter motors and regularly swap them out.

Yeah, its a common problem. Search any of the US suzuki boards for "clicky starter". In fact, I just googled, and theres even a website called http://www.clicky-starter.com ! lol.

I think what happens is the ignition switch contacts get a bit dirty/worn and don't supply enough current to engage the stater solenoid. You could probably pull the ignition switch apart and clean it up, but most people just run the "start" wire to a relay, and power the solenoid through the relay. Thats how mine's been running for the last 4 years, and its never clicked again since.

ok i havnt done the clicky fix yet because it stopped clicking altogether!!!
so i decided to take starter out while zuk up on stands etc and give it a clean up......pulled it out took solenoid off and cleaned all sludge and muck out(not to bad really) then tried starter motor on the floor.....
starter spun an solenoid did what it was supposed to do..
fitted it back to truck conneted all the wiring correctly and still nothingnot even a click?
will it still be the same fix of the wiring to fix the click?

Simple things first - are you sure you put the start wire back on the solenoid? I've spent countless times swearing at my starter and beating it with hammers etc before realising I've left that wire off.

If not, then you need to get out your multimeter and see if there's 12V at the terminal when you turn the key. If not, check at the plug in the steering column. If theres no power there, it might be time to pull the ignition out and have a look inside.
