So where and when is the 'landslip' one?
Thanks!

If it's in the same place as 2001 it's at Pukerau, about 14km east of Gore and 140km west of Dunedin (by road).
An online map of the road (Landslip Road):
http://www.smaps.co.nz/nz/gore/pukerau/landslip+road/185/
Coordinates (WGS84, which will work OK pasted into Google Earth) are:
S46 02.745 E169 07.181
I tried uploading photos from that event to a new event gallery but will have to get in touch with Mike on how to do it. It's been the only other event I've seen before Shefield last weekend - it had a good mixture of trial stuff (not too tight though) and mug bogs. A superb location and really well organised. After the event it was open - anyone could put on whatever tyres they wanted for a play.

Nearly... It is up Landslip Valley Road and the turn off is in Pukerau. Then turn onto Maxted road just over the railway line - it'll be signposted from Pukerau.
There are 4 classes
Standard, Modified, Super Modified & Greater Modified. open round is at the end and is all goes - it'll only be held if the weather holds.

Just head out Gorge road through Tokonui and follow the road round - Waikawa onto Curio Bay. It is just before curio bay. Shouldn't be a spectator fee.

I think it takes about 1 1/4 hours from Balclutha to Curio bay through the senic route , but its a windy road .
