Balljoint mud n crap protection

Just kitted out the two spring-loaded balljoints on my Cruiser (same ones as on Hiluxes) and while I was lying there under her, post surgery, I suddenly thought of bandaging the poor little thngs with self-amalgamating tape from the electrical wholesalers. Haven't thrashed it properly yet but so far it all looks a lot healthier than the original stupid little rubber flappy things. Self amalgamating tape is more wondrous than Helen Clark's smile. Stretchie as hell and sort of fuses onto itself without adhesive.
