petefj40's dyno run today
Re: petefj40's dyno run today
The FJ40 is booked in for another dyno run next week. I'll be using 33's this time. An a mobile laptop tune the week after. Just have to sort some fuel pump issues first. Will post some video of it. Should sound sweeter than the last run. Should get some more horse power to. YEAH!!

I agree. I'm interested to see the results. The fuel issues will be sorted with a bigger breather vent to the petrol tank. As well as a another smaller fuel cell off the main fuel tank keeping the fuel pressure consistent. I've had problems with the fuel pressure dropping when I'm at maximum g forces.

I did have the 40 booked in for a dyno run. But then thought I'd get the mods done on it first. So the Holden had a dyno run instead. After getting the stainless 3 inch twin exhaust system installed, it needed another tune up anyway. That went really well!! Only roller rockers to go on the Holden's LS1 to get it where I want it. I've only got 255kW's at the rear wheels at the moment.
What computer do I use on the 40's LS1? The stock GM computer. (it's bolted down in the glove box) Any other wouldn't perform as well. That's what "Kevin Geary" tells me. And he's been working on those motors for years. He's been helping me get the most out of my V8's from the time I first brought them. Before going out on his own, he was the HSV specialist for Blackwells for 12 years. He knows his stuff.
