I use 12A inverter for my GME 5W PRS and ciggie lighter (spotlight, phone charger etc).
I've left the factory inverter, so it only handles the factory 12V items.

I run a 15amp continous unit off TM from Kaiatia Auto Electrical ($65)only run my Uniden 015 of it at the moment with no issues. This unit is the smallest i've seen(bout the size of a cig packet)with a fan mounted on top and fits up behind the glove box inner.

put a new inverter in the saf and prs is still not working as it should, took my prs back 2day at DSE and wanted a exchange but they dont hold prs in stock anymore you have to order them in, so they gave me my money back,so poped along to harvey norman and they just happen to have a special on a uniden sundowner uho88sx and i got a free 2watt handheld as well in package should of been $429 and i got it for $349,hooked it up all fine and dandy
so happy as a pig in shit now
