We started driving ourselves in the soft sand and bogged almost 3/4 of the way across the beach,we got out and started to dig some ruts and dig out the front diff, while doing so a bunch of guys in their Isuzu came past on their way out and without even offering help or even saying anything at all drove on past laughing....

(neither one of these dudes is me

Problem was that within 300m of us they bogged in deep, anyway we left them to it after getting free and we drove around the bays for about 2 hours,to give up at about 4 oclock to start back.
And guess what the Isuzu guys are still there and if anything worse than ever.

(pays not to laugh at others missfortunes, the Isuzu digs in good)
We decided to risk going back down onto the beach and just gunning it across the soft sand and then try to pull back onto the track at the far end.
So we got pretty good speed up and somehow managed to cross the beach my mate almost bounced out the open sun roof, but we were through and laughing...there were some demoralised looks from the Isuzu as the Rugger flew past on the beach.
We felt sorry for them so decided to go back and help them out,so we grabbed our three shovels and walked back to where they were.
After a fair bit off digging we nearly got her to the Rugger.
