Hi
Just heard about this service that has been set up by a Kiwi guy making it easy to get stuff from the States to NZ.
Many places in the US wont ship overseas. This is a way to do it.
Have a read & see what you think.

If only I'd thought of that... a mate of mine already has a freight forwarding account. Ahh well....

The guy starting it up also appears to be, or was the GM of UB Freighting and also wrapped up with a company called AJC Exports who export milk by the looks of it.
Not sure of the significance of this but it does indicate that he's been in the export/import game for a while. Also his add appears to lack a lot of hype and bullshit normally associated with snake oil salesmen.

Ask nicely, used to work with rocky road, but they've got too big I think. I try that first and if it fails I ship stuff to my brother first, trouble is it sits on his desk for 4 weeks before he gets round to shipping it...

Thanks Trev for posting the link to my site.
Hope you guys don't mind me posting a reply.
I have had lots of referal hits from this forum so I thought I would take a look. The service is for real. Our 1st consolidation shipment leaves the states this week and will be weekly from now on. The service is to allow kiwis to buy from companies that won't ship to NZ. I know US Post can be cheaper for some things if your supplier will post it for you. But I'm just providing a service I think Kiwis want at what I think is a fair price. Any queries you have will be answered via the contact link on the site.

I have signed up to this service to get a pair of lockers for my GQ from Rocky Road in the USA. I expect to have the shipment just after Xmas so will let you know the out come of that.
I also talked to him on the phone about a minor issue, which he sorted out at 10pm tonight, now that is service!
More recently I just had a set of Rock Hopper rock crawler gears sent over from OZ and used Arron (buyusa) to handle the customs clearance for it. I phoned several freight companies, which handle the custom clearances, and Arron was the cheapest.
I received it today and was very happy with the service and will use again in the future. I highly recommended him.

Thanks Alan, I'll give him a call.
I see you have now signed up. Perhaps time for an introduction to the wider group?
