Hi there,
does anybody know whats the best way to give my 1990 surf a 2 inch lift?
I'm contracting and have the surf always full of tools which lower the rear quite a bit making the ride a bit spongee

BNT have Dobi coils, not 50mm lift, only 35mm. Why not support site advertisers instead?

Also, if the ride is spongy then you probably need some good shocks as well, the original ones will be buggered.

great cheers guys,

I'll check both out, would not really bother but as i just did rebuild the engine (new head, turbo, radiator...) i think it's worth to hold on to . As the tyres soon to be replaced is it wise to get a wider tyres to get the gravity point lower since the lift? If so what size be recommendable?

Thanks for your help.

For what it sounds like you are using the truck for I'd go 31x10.5's that size in a BFG all terrain pattern will get you close to 80-90,000km if you look after them, they are reasonable offroad and quiet on...

Having said that, 50mm lift springs and new shocks and it will probably handle better than it ever did...
