PZJ70 Series Diff locks

Can anybody help out a newbie to Cruisers??
I've recently bought a 92 PZJ70 5cyl Cruiser which was originally fitted with factory front and rear diff locks. Its the SWB leaf spring version.
Some thoughtful bloke  has removed the rear actuator and fitted a blanking plate and cut off the wiring loom, luckliy on the actuator side of the plug.
Does anybody know where the best place to buy one of these (even overseas suppliers) or which other series Cruisers had the same design actuator? My local commercial vehicle dismantler thought he had one but it turned out to be off the front axle, so I now have a spare one of those at least!
Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Welcome aboard Graham, thats a bit of a blow... another thing thats gone wrong. Did you get back in touch with the guy down here you got it from? Surely he noticed...

Give Nigel at Just Cruisers a call in Rangiora - they are the most likely ones to have one of those for you... I can't think of anyone else that would have one, short of getting one from the US or Japan - at, no doubt, a huge expense.

Hows the truck going other than that (and the small spring muckup - did you drop them back? I haven't seen them here yet). Make sure you fire a picture of the truck into the "Show us your Toyota" thread...

These are the electric versions not cable unfortunately. I've seen a photo of a stripped down '94 80 series rear actuator that looks like it may bolt up ok

Steve,
It took me a while to join and post on here but made it eventually!
Everything else good with the truck. I've emailed you a couple of times re the springs. I'll phone instead..

I'll give nigel a try too as the guy who sold it to me has gone very quiet surprisingly enough...

Cheers,
Graham
