rear mounting the radiator

rear mounting the radiator

Has anyone here mounted their radiator in the back? Im looking at doing it on the s1.

What type of pipe should I use?

hiriklux has done his one. philux has doing his with steel tubing.
mine was done using a mixture of pressurised rubber hose, and steel tubing for the straight parts.
toymota thats stock standard.

I'd use some 40-50mm nom-bore thin wall pipe... will help with cooling. Rik used med-wall 40mm nom bore just because thats what he had.

I think 40 may be a bit too big for the radiator hoses? ill have a look tonight.

My dad gave me a suggestion of exhaust tube? will it work?

exhaust tubing is fine

yeah exhaust tubing is just thin-wall stuff but would be fine to use I'd think...

im gonna be going stainless, 2.5mm wall 2", shud be getting done in the next week or 2
