Welly ORE Christmas BBQ

Post by Bubba »

I have yet to see anyone organise anything solid and I thought it needed it's own thread.

I know Beer Cruiser and Tara mentioned something about a few drinks round at their crib on the South Coast. If they are still keen then we should make it our Christmas get together.

The only other suggestion is Mark and Halley's place again, with their permission of course.

also could possibly do a rallywoods, but possibly people are a bit sick of it. Im voting for a place where you can go driving. possibly red rocks.

Yeah I quite like the red rocks idea especially if beer cruiser and beer tara would be prepared to let us invade their bach around there for the afternoon and possibly the night as well :drunken:

Ok then, The date is set for the Sat 8th, meet at the car park at say........ 1030hrs, head around set up, have a play, maybe a fish and a dive and then we can spark the bbq, sink a few, watch the sun set, drive Jerry's Cruiser into the surf with him tired to it and watch it not float, shoot seals and enjoy nature or some shit like that.

If you want to come later, just head on round till you see people passed out :drunken: on the sand.

Channel 10 on the radio but Telecom has coverage at the crib from memory

If you are staying the night then please note that you will have to be at the carpark gate before 0900hrs or you will be locked in till 6pm (or is it 9?).

Jerry can you get permission/ keys for us to get out the other way, up the stream, if need be. Maybe Sadam can pick up the keys on his way through, it would lessen his and maybe others trip considerably.

Oh yeah and it's BYO, BBQ, kid friendly, guest friendly. Bring yah tunes, banjo's etc as well as seating, portable BBQ, sun shades, chilly bins, camera's, fishing, diving, swimming gear and of course your poison of choice

If you are staying and wish to stay in the hutt please advise so sleeping space doesn't get book out, otherwise you could end up snuggled up to Jerry or worse ME!

Oh and if you are coming, stay off the restricted dunes and private property coz I will report your ass

Aotea Block is better set up for that. Although I'm at risk of thread jacking my own thread. If the course is out in Porirua you can use my meeting room for the theory if you want.

I should be able to organise keys via Makara, I can meet people there, its a shiny trip, I can probably get access to another bach if we need more room...we can exit this way on Sunday morning etc.

Can I bring my Speedos :-{

I won't tell on you for threadjacking this time :roll: :lol:

There's a few people that have gone off the radar of late please pass on the invite when you see them;

Stinky, Mrs Stinky and the little Stinkies :wink:

Mark and Halley, haven't heard much from them of late, can someone check their house for rotting corpses!

Gonna, if that bloody 40 is going and hasn't shit it's self again

Tyre Rob, bring your bloody shinny 70 out so we can steal parts!

Newbee, Jerry will give yah a ride as long as you promise not to go topless again

MrO, bring your bicycle out (bad boy bad boy what yah gonna do...)

Ginga Zuk, bring da Gingamoble but leave your MEGA THRASH DEATH METAL music behind

Tonka and Shell, if they can get out of the sack long enough and if one of their FIVE 4wd's is working!

Umm who else is there.......(to insult)

I'm just really bring the thread back out in the open as a number of people have not seen it but want to attend.

I'm not really concerned about numbers and shit but if you are intending on going then please post on this thread so we have some clue as to who and how many are going, if you haven't done so already
