wanted arb front air locker
Howsit im after an arb air locker (front) for a swb short wheel base 1991 gq. If anyone has one they want to sell id be interested in buying it. Also i see a lot of people use lockrite lockers i would like some feedback on how they go, is it a pain that they are always locked?
"Is it a pain that they are always locked?", YES.
This question is as good as the Toyota/Nissan-------Ford/Holden
.
I say yes because I have driven both, I have ARB's front and back in the Cruiser and it is an advantage to be able to select and disconnect when necessary and there has been many times when I haven't wanted the diffs locked.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR,
FITZY.

i second smokey to be able to unlock the diff and get better steering is a major advantage the second thing i have found is that with the diffs open you are able to cross slidlings better as the wheel that hasnt got the drive is able to assist the vechile by holding the ground . when you lock the diff both wheels want to turn together and actually creates the vechile to slip down the slope with gravity.
so the question on wether auto system or manual is how much can you afford . if your budget allows arb then that would be my choice
cheers mudlva :salut:
