Hey, ive recently scored a 1990 Rugger, and want to put her up in the air a bit. has anybody had anything to do with a similar such mission? I am wondering if it would be possible flog springs out of a hilux and put them in?? anybody know whither that might work, and any issues one might face??

not too sure about the Rugger I do know that the Hilux springs fit the back of the Feroza/Rocky (F300) body ... thats what I did to get a 2 inch lift in mine was to fit Hilux springs. easy way (but not the cheapest) would be to get the springs reset at an engineering firm, i was qouted $140 a pair for a 3" reset on the factory springs.

hilux rears ln106 model i think will fit. also longer hangers. the rugger center pin is in a slightly different place than the hilux. also you'll have to cgange the bushes to daihatsu ones
that thing has hilux springs and 3inch over standard lenght spring hangers and a 2in body lift.
