Kawasaki 300 quad stopping...!

Hi, I ride a quacker 300 quad. I'll say I don't know much at all about it but enjoy riding it.
At the moment when you turn a sharp left hand turn it just plain cuts out. Just dies

It's no problem when you turn right.
Any ideas. Thinking it may be some electrics or something like that.
Thanks for any help...

I had that,
It was on an uki however.
Turned out it was a wire lost a tiny bit of it's plastic coating due to rubbing and on full left turn would earth out and blow the main fuse stopping the bike.
It was the line to the red kill switch.

Had the same problem on my bike and ended up being a wire lose on the back of the ignition. It would just disconnect and I would lose power. Good luck finding it.

kill switch wire will have rubbed thru and when you turn it will be touching on the frame killing the engine. as NJ said

check all the wires from hand controls, key area and look for bare wires, wrap them(individualy) in insulation tape and you should be good to go.

can only a igntion wire or loose igntion switch backing plate.
fyi, thoose klf,s have big time cdi promblems, usually just a dry solder joint but its sealed unit, if it stops on the trail and being a kwacka it will
give the cdi unit a knock and offf it goes again (only works for a little while)

Ok, thanks everyone for the tips. Dad and I have the front end of the bike stripped down to where we can get to the wires.
We were testing it yesterday and the battery has charge but there's no power getting to the starter or something like that. Really strange because it does not work at ALL now. Even when the bike is straight on.
Going to get back to it sometime but it's not high on the priority list as there is a lull in the work on the farm. Thankfully!:)

Ok, so I would be testing to see if the starter is working right? Just wanting some more pointers.
And a test light

Ok, thanks for all your ideas. I was working with my dad and it was a bit beyond us. Just couldn't find the problem so it's been sent away to get fixed!
Thanks again for the info

Just got the bike back. The problem was in the starter box on the handle. The bike also had a terrible steering column. You'd yank it around and it would sluggishly get going!

So that has now been all fixed too. Just have to put all the covers back on and get out and riding.

Can't wait for that. I work on a farm and being without our second quad was a real hassle. Especially when the cows are hard enough to get in with two. They just seemed to know we didn't have 2!!

Anyway, they won't get away with it next time!
Thanks for all the ideas and help.

No action shots!! Too busy for that when we're out!

Plus there's no one to take them when we're out...
