Who said Landys dont like water?
Re: Who said Landys dont like water?
in the uk i lived 15 minutes drive away from that water hole and went there every year for a big landroverer magazine event, the place is BILLING aquadrome, one section of the offroad course is through a lake, awesome. one year some guy who was into JEEPS in a big way said anything i did in my rangie he would do in reverse in his jeep
so i drove the course and he followed in reverse, wasnt really really extreme stuff but he did the whole course in reverse
i was amazed at the abilities of the jeep.

Enough of that, we don't want to give the Jeep guys on here head swells.

Since I put my coil inside a clic-clac lunchbox and covered the distributor with an old inner tube, my Land Rover is not so scared of water anymore. The same can't be said for the owner who still shy's away from bonnet deep water if he can.

to be perfectly honest, the landrovers series 1, 2 and 3's are the only petrol motors i've seen that have never had any water issues..
thats my observation though..
That "swimming suzuki" is a petrol engine there niblik.
