hello all, im in the process of buying my first 4x4, what bighorns should i stay away from, do parts cost a lot for them and are there any problems with them?

get an early box shape bighorn or later rounder v6 model and don't touch the 3.1 diesel ones. i have heard 5 different stories of them shitting themselves, blown turbos, heads etc etc etc...

hey i have an earlyer box shaped one
and like it. the short wheel based irmschers are a fun truck on and off road. pretty echonomical and strong...
but ...... get it checked out. i diddnt and im paying the price,
ive heard lots of guys with blow by problems with the 2.8 turbos, including me. and the brakes are prone to ceasing up too. mine have.
i love the thing but i plan to sell it and get a toyota.
no ofence guys.
