Toyota centrifugal oil filter ?

Howdy mates:

I read somewhere- dont recall - that Toyota was installing a centrifugal oil filter on the new turbo Diesels - either 1KZ-TE or 1KD-FTV- anyone know - am I correct ?

I understand Land Rover has a supplemental centrifugal filter on the TD5 - spindle filter element requires scheduled replacement - works in tandem with spin on canister filter

I know there are large models to be had - 30 L sump capacity - I think that too big for a 2LT

any information will be of help
