Wanted: Starter 4x4

We live in Wairarapa, we are after a starter 4x4 to go to club meets and basically have a blat around. We have $5-7K to spend, we want something tidy as i have no time to "finish a project". We want to be able to get in and drive it. ANyone got any ideas please get in contact, cheers.

Hi.

What sort of stuff will you be doing like just offroading or towing and offroading or daily drive and offroader?? or all of the above. and how what sort of offroading just little things or going for gold sorta things?

Just local trials. It won't be my road vehicle, though i do either need it road worthy or on a A-frame. I don't want a normal car , i do actually want a proper 4x4 not just a road car lifted with different tyres. Not sure whether to go for a zook or something bigger. You got any ideas?
My brother had a 413 with bluebird in it, that was bloody great fun, sorta after something similar, properly built for offroad with a decent whack of power.

I have been keeping an eye on your cruiser, but my main concern is how to get it from place to place, especially that its not road worthy.
