Anyone made a ground anchor??

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Has anyone made a ground anchor? If so, what did you use and how effective is it? Any diagrams will be very appreciated. (saves me of going through trial and error)

A folding plough type sounds like the ticket, but probably wouldnt be any good in shingle river beds??
