Tomo mate tray is fine. just those rivets i told you about popped out up ote. I will put new rivots back in though.

I wana see how well your surf will go in that bog my tow bar fucked me up in. that should be a laugh in a half.

I am looking into extendable shackles. A full set 2inch raised how much would you expect to pay for a full set front and back? just want to compare prices

Mine had tonnes of rust in the channel that runs under the dash where the air vents get their air from. Have to take off the guards to see where it is. Was a bloody mess with water flowing down over the fuse box and filling the floor up. Took some few weeks to find the problem and figure out how to fix it. Used a shitload of rust inhibiter/converter, paint and neutral cure sealer before I was happy it would last. I sold it a few months later as I wanted something a little more economical and smaller (will get another zuk eventually).

I do them, NZ made, 8mm steel plate, laser cut (ie: pretty AND functional :P) - $400 for a set or $220 a pair front, $200 a pair, rear.

As for things to watch, really just rust... other than that if they are serviced and maintained they go really well. Keep an eye on the front swivel housings for leakages - that generally means the inner axle seals have gone - a $5 part that takes around 2-3 hours to replace :P

Yea i did the axle ball seals about 10,000km and they seem to still be fine.

I found some 2nd hand extened shackles for $200 for the full set.

I couldnt it so i now have them. and there waiting to go in.!

actually got the shackles for 150 so even better again.

on the way home from hunting the other night my timing belt light
came on. and apparently there ment to come on a 200,000km. my clock only reads bloody 170,000kms so yea i think the speedo might have been tampered with.

none the less shackles went in easy as. and truck sits just that bit higher now.
