I recently bought a 93 Surf (1KZ Auto) to tow the boat and am wanting to put a trans cooler in this weekend.

Any recommendation on what is good/best.

I've already got another radiator thats had the cooler removed so that'll be going in too.

PWR trans coolers are in my opinion the best coolers for the money. get the biggest one you can fit in there

having said that, the one i got from APPCO for my V6 ute (V8 cooler) does the job superbly :D and from memory was around the $100 mark new

I have one of these:

I imported with other stuff for my Jeep, came out cheaper (half the price) than any similar quality locally. B&M coolers are supposed to be among the best in the US.

the advice I got was to make sure what ever brand cooler you get is manufactured like a radiator. Ie not a continuous tube that has tight bends in it where it switches back on itself. And bigger is better.

I have an alloy intercooler type setup, that is soon to be mounted in the back with a 2nd water radiator and 10" fan.
