The core back end of the site has been upgraded. Lots of extra security has been put in. It now resides on a faster server. But as you can see the front needs alot of tidying up.
Things that won't be working till late thursday night:
Photo Albums
Server email
Registrations
Things that wont be working for a while:
Classifieds
Online-shop
The server was hacked into over the weekend by some Isralies!! I caught them early into it trying to turn the server into a spam machine. So sorry for the disruptions but I'm sure you will understand my frustrations !!

Is this why a lot of my pics have disappeared from my album? You can see from the posts here
http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=678&start=15
that the links to the pics in my album have crapped out. Let me know if I need to re-upload them

I still have alot to do so bear with me guys, lots of bugs, lots of upgrading its actually quite a daunting task. I don't think its going to happen to quick as I just got a gas set to take to the two LR chassises.
I'll get the gallery and registrations going very soon. didnt get a chance last night as was busy relaxing watching tv
your photos are all still there jafa, they will come back you will see

the server is just not letting the site look at them yet
Its amazing how much I want to get into the garage when the website all turns to custard

Once its all finished though it will be bigger and better than ever

Yup its a long slow up hill battle that I was going to do over a couple of months so I could get the truck built as well but some people with to much time on their hands thought otherwise and forced me to do it in a couple of days
I think the orange thing may be fixed when the forum moves back to its old location as its not use to being in the homepage. but dont quote me on that, till you get your orange things back go off the latest scrolling block way down on the left side

Thanks Mike,
I alos notice that search (view new topic...) only works for own post.
I'm ok for that scrolling box for now.
Edited:
At the forum index page, I can see the orange icons but not inside the each forum topic.
This reminds me that your SQL statement's where cluse include login id which should not. (I my be wrong but I would check that first.)

Mike, I'm also noticing that the majority of times when I click the "HOME" link at the top left of the screen it takes me to the shop font page rather than the home page... similar to what was happening before.

Hmmm a little strange as those links only reference index.php. Can you check the url for those buttons in the bottom left of the screen when you hover over them please. It should/can only be going to the shop with modules.php?name=catalog tagged on the end. Are the forum emails still doing it as well? I havnt experienced this problem locally so essentially trying to fix a problem I cant see

nope, already checked the link is correct when you hover over it... only index.php... just seems to take me to the shop anyway... only normally the first time I click 'home' too...

keep up the good work Mike .
your site is something to be proud of ...
there is a guy in ch-ch here who is one of the world leaders in anti-virus
and protection . He is also a hell of a guy and would be open to a yarn if
you are interested ..( not that it looks like you need help , you certainly
seem to have things under control.. )
Cheers Andy

Hi Mudlux
Cheers for the comments, always good to hear that people appreciate the site and that I'm not wasting my time maintaining it
Yeah I would love to have a yarn with him sometime...maybe when things get settled here I'll have some more time especially since he will probably suggest I completely alter things again....murphys law
