Welly Boxing Day BBQ / Family Day / Trip?

Post by Jerry »

Was thinking Boxing day is usually a bit boring so why not have a trip and a BBQ or something (and try out my new rear difflick which should hopefully be fitted by then  ..... try out your new winches  ) ..... Rallywoods springs to mind as the facilities are ok there.

Format of the day will be pretty casual ..... turn up and leave when you want, bring the missus and kids etc, go 4wd'ing if you want or just sit around and stuff your face with charcoaled steak and beer etc.
Was thinking having this as a day/evening event however it is open to an overnighter if there was interest.

Usual Jerry trip rules will apply, towhooks required for the harder bits, no drinking and driving, watch language around kids ..... other than that its a normal trip. $10 per truck, may be damagey in places, shiny trucks welcome (should be plenty of seats if you want rides). Bring the usual gear Fire extingisher, first aid kit, rated strop, shovel etc. I will be checking your hooks.

Maybe investigate these tracks that haven't been used for a few years

Let me know if there is interest and I will book it in the next day or 2

It's certainly in the diary, I have my whole family coming so whether I can tear myself away for a day or not will be the question. Some of them may like to join me.
So, in a nutshell, we may see you, we may not.

Anyway - have a great Christmas

Cheers

Doors, yeah but they don't close properly; windows, some but not enough; loony handles, only the loonies in the cab
