Rear mounting batterys in 24v safari(Q:)

Post by Shane »

When rear mounting batterys on a 24 volt safari system, can you just run one 24v lead from rear and connect to 24v battery bracket/terminal in engine bay and run short earths to chassis/body from rear batterys?

Does left side battery(12v)run anything(at 12v)?it looks to only have a heavy lead going to right side battery to get 24v?

As far as I know everything runs of the 12v reducer cig, radio, etc.

There well be no batterys in engine bay

Cheers Shane

as long as you have the positive lead from the first batt connected to the neg on the second then yes. As long as you maintain the 24v supply, everything else should be sweet
