How do I get more punch out of my Suzuki 1993 Escudo 3door manual, G16A 1600 16 valve EFI engine?
I have 31X 10.5 R15 tries and off road on sand dunes a lot.
Do I add a Turbo or Supercharger or get in chiped or replace 1600 with 2litre V6 engine?

If you are looking at engine swaps don't even consider a v6 , too much trouble and not the best engine . The J series bolt up to the 1600 gearboxes , thats a J18 or J20 ( 1800 or 2000cc ) . The J18 is in suzuki stationwagons but is fwd so has a few issues . The J20 is in 2.0 GV , its the 4cyl one . If you fork the $$$ out for the engine I guess you may as well get the tranny .

Otherwise a supercharger or turbo is your next best option . never done this so no help there .

extractors for a start and a free flow exhaust if you dont already have them. One of those unichip or what ever replacement chips for the efi. Head work next (port and polish).

Dont know about the turbo and super Charger, sounds expensive (but then again so does head work).
