hey I currently have a old surf 86 with IFS,
Im looking at getting a 93 4runner with IFS 2.8 non turbo.
and swapping my lsd rear and Lockrite Front into it.
question is Will my front diff bolt into the New shape surf and same mounting brackets ect..
or will i have to start again and buy another.
can anyone help as it will help me make a decision on buying.. thanks

It will all fit straight in, the 93 one has an ADD front diff where as your 86 doesn't. Not as issue if you have free wheeling hubs on your 86 diff. You just need to muck around with the wiring from the ADD unit to stop buzzers going off and the dash lights flashing in your cab.

lay under the front diff of the 93 and look to the Passenger side of the diff head and you will see the unit I mean.
