1994 2l v6 SWB escudo timing

hi all, i was just wondering if anyone new where the timing marks were suposed to be on a 2l v6 motor, we have put a new one in because turoa blew the old one up, anyone know? thanks

HI there, If its the H20a engine , I have some pictures of the very hard to find manual i could email you if it helps ?
Do you want internal timing chain marks or just igntion timing?

hi i have a 24 valve twincam v6 can u plese tell me if its cam belt or chain ? if so can u tighten the chain with a adjuster etc

Hi, they're chain driven cams, with auto tensioners. Pricey to replace so it's crucial to keep well serviced with low cold viscosity, but high quality oil.

Hi , there are 3 chains and 3 auto tensioners , if they are getting noisey you can run an oil flush through and replace with a good quailty oil ( 5w30 ) this can sometimes get the tensioners working better. as Iniel said they need good servicing and its quite involved to replace tensioners. But can be done givin some time and effort.
